Galway Fashion Trail Autumn '16

Into The West Blogger Network were thrilled once again to work alongside Goldenegg Productions on another Fashion Trail in Galway. Not unlike the last two, this event was a huge success! Twenty Into The West Blogger Network bloggers attended the eight mini fashion shows all over the city throughout the day. As a collaboration project, each of the bloggers created content on their own blog about the day - see below and check out their posts.

The day started off in style as always in the Colm Quinn BMW showroom where we were treated to a stunning breakfast and we were chauffeur driven into the city in absolute luxury to begin the trail.

Galway was buzzing. Between 11 and 5 o’clock, we visited a total of eight shops; each one hosted a fashion show, Prosecco and other goodies were on offer to all and most had discounts to entice also. To say I was blown away by what Galway had to offer was an understatement.

The First shop was Colette Latchfords on Eyre square. We were treated to a fab show and we then headed to Greenes Shoes  for a show in the Eyre Square SC who styled their shoes with beautiful accessories from the Galway Hat Shop.

After an absolutely great day at the Athlone fashion trail I knew this wouldn’t disappoint! Of course me, my mam and my aunt decided to head up the night before. We stayed at the The Connacht hotel, where we enjoyed a fab meal and a few drinks and had an absolutely great night!!

Milliner's such as Majella Lennon, Brid O'Driscoll and Suzie Mahony also collaborated with exclusive boutiques on the day. We also got a glimpse of Colin Burke's high fashion collection which left us dreaming of sitting front row of Paris Fashion Week.

We scooted along to Willow, which is always one of my personal highlights and this time was no different. I love the décor and the cool-girl stock and the show was one of the most personally relatable of the whole day.
Everything they put out, in fact, was rather lust-worthy.

This was my first time to be one of the blogger group for the event with ITWBN and it didn't disappoint.  Saibh and Sinead (ITWBN) did an amazing job coordinating the 20 VIP Fashion bloggers for the day, some travelling from other parts of Ireland.  It was lovely to meet up again with some familiar faces.

Kilkenny shop was our next landmark and I adore this store, it has fabulous collections and I love how they stock Irish designers too. They are so helpful there and very generous gifting us with a piece of Dyrbergkern jewellery!
